Section 270
A stamp used on a public document should not be levied
(1) No person shall counterfeit or engage in counterfeiting any stamp used in any public document.
(2) A person who commits or causes an offense under sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with a fine which may extend to five thousand rupees.
